Admission Notice
(Academic Year 2020)
Applications are wanted for Admission In 23 Different degree of Level-1, Semester-1 in 2020 academic year.
Applicants who passed in 2018 & 2019 H.S.C / Equivalent Examination can apply according to following conditions. Students passed S.S.C / Equivalent before 2016 unable to apply.
Applicants must have a GPA 3.00 in each examination and in total 6.50 in the scale of 5.00 from any secondary & higher Secondary/Madrasah/Vocational Education Board of Bangladesh. But in case of Agriculture, Fisheries & Veterinary & Animal science Faculty needed at least “C” in 4th Subject. Applicants from Foreign Education Board must have passed in equivalent examination with equivalent grade. Only for G unit student can have a GPA 2.50 in each examination and in total 6.00.
For “O” and “A” Level Students, “O” level needed average “B” in minimum 5 subject & “A” level needed average ”C” in minimum 3 subject From Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agriculture.
2. Reserved Quota
(a) 5% of Total seat is preserved for son/daughter of Freedom Fighters.
(b) 1% of Total seat is preserved for Aborigine/Tribal.
(c) 1% of Total seat is preserved for son/daughter of employee & teachers of this university.
(d) 5 Seats for BKSP students
(e) 80 seats are preserved for International students.
3. Examination Fee: 500/- for each Unit.
4. Application Date: From 01/10/ 2019 to 31/10/ 2019 (approximate) you can apply online or through mobile SMS.
5. You have to apply separately for each unit.
a). Student have to fill the form from the official website hstu.ac.bd/admission . After fill the Form a Bill number will be generated. This number is required for the payment.
(b). Apply through SMS: Applicant should write SMS from his personal mobile number as follows.

6. Payment System of HSTU Admission
Students have to pay 500 BDT (non-refundable) through DBBL Mobile banking or Rocket Biller ID 373 .After the ending the process, a message will be received to the mobile immediately. The Transaction ID will be mentioned there.
IF there any problem occurs to pay the fees student can contact at Admission@hstu.ac.bd by mentioning the transaction id. To know the payment status sent sms through following Format

7. Download the Admit Card of HSTU
a). The applicant has to download his admit card before 00 00 2019 from the official website. Student must to upload their image under 50KB before downloading the admit card.
b). Students has to print his admit card on A4 size offset paper. You have to sign in front of invigilator during exam time. No one is allowed to enter into exam hall without admit card.

12. Admission Test System: Examination will be held in MCQ system. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. You have to fill up the specific circle for quota in your answer script. For Bachelor of Architecture student have to participate on an extra 50 marks drawing exam and pass by obtaining 10 marks.

15. Instructions:
a ) All kinds of electronic devices (Watch, Calculator, Mobile Phone) are banned inside exam hall.
b ) Quota students has to ensure 35 marks minimum to enter into merit list.
c ) Students has to fill up merit choice from through university website.
d ) 40% For Science/Humanities and 60% for Commerce Of Total seat will be preserved of “C” unit.
e ) 50% For Science/Commerce and 50% for Humanities Of Total seat will be preserved of “G” unit.
f ) Vacant preserved seats will be fulfilled from Merit list.
g ) Varsity Authority got the power to change or regulate or add anything according to law.
h ) Admission must be cancelled for any false information.
